The U.S. government prices 68 everyday things every month. Pick one, pick up or down, and get paid in SOL when the number lands.
Once a month, at
The four biggest swings on the board. Every one is a real series with a real number behind it, and any of them is open to launch.
A flat month pays nobody. The line stays where it is.
up pot + down pot == the SOL in the market's vault
Any of the 68 series, at any leverage from 1x to 50x. Eggs swing hard, so 2x is plenty. Toilet paper barely moves, so 20x makes a month of it worth having an opinion about.
Your SOL goes into the up pot or the down pot, and you get that side's token at what the pot is worth right now. No order book, no counterparty to find, no fee.
When the next figure lands, the losing pot pays the winning one: the move times the leverage, never more than 99%. Sell whenever you like, outside release hour.
At 8:30 the figure is on bls.gov. Until it is on chain, anyone who has read it could dump the losing side on everyone still holding. So every market shuts for release hour.
Groceries and fuel are BLS average prices in dollars. Everything else is a CPI item index, where only the change matters. Every row links to its source.

A token that is a share of one side's pot. EGG5UP is a share of the up pot on the 5x eggs market, and selling it back pays you that share in SOL. You are not buying eggs. You are on one side of a published number, against whoever is on the other.
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Groceries and fuel are its average price series (dollars per pound, gallon or dozen). Everything else is a CPI item index. Every market links to its series on bls.gov, so any figure can be checked in one click.
The size of the move times the market's leverage, as a share of the losing pot, capped at 99%. Eggs up 2% on a 5x market moves 10% of the down pot across the line. A flat month moves nothing, and if nobody is on one side, nothing moves at all.
Because the only people who want to sell in that hour already know the answer. The freeze starts an hour before the scheduled release, ends as soon as the figure is on chain, and can never run past three days after the release even if the figure never arrives.
One attester key. The program lets it add a newer month and announce the next release, and nothing else: it cannot rewrite a month, cannot post a month that has not ended, and has no instruction that touches a market's SOL. It could post a wrong figure, so check any print against its source.
None. Launching a market costs its account rent, and trades cost Solana network fees. The program takes nothing from a pot.
Not yet. Balances are play SOL until the Solana program is deployed to mainnet.
